Frequently Asked Questions

If you're looking for a gentle, body-centred approach that helps you better understand yourself, strengthen your nervous system, and create meaningful change in everyday life, SRT may be a wonderful fit.
If you're unsure, I'd be happy to answer your questions and help you decide whether this feels like the right next step.

Every session is different because every person is different.
Some people come with something specific that they would like to work through, others just feel that something isn’t right - both are fine! We explore your present experience and work with , body-centred tools that help create greater safety, process stress and trauma efficiently and build stronger connection, and self-regulation.
You'll also leave with practical tools that you can begin using in everyday life.
-
Absolutely.
I offer a complimentary 10–15 minute phone or Zoom conversation where we can get to know one another, talk briefly about what has brought you here, and explore whether this feels like the right fit for you.
It's a relaxed, no-pressure conversation and an opportunity to ask any questions before deciding whether you'd like to begin.
-
No.
One of the things people are often most surprised to discover is that you don't have to share your whole story to benefit from SRT. Some people choose to talk about past experiences, while others prefer not to. Both are completely okay.
We'll simply work with whatever feels comfortable for you.

Many of the people I work with have already tried other forms of support. SRT isn't about replacing everything you've learned—it's about adding another piece of the puzzle by working with the nervous system through experience, not just understanding.
Often, that's the missing piece that helps everything else begin to make more sense.
-
Yes.
One of the things I love most about SRT is that it is both deeply restorative and wonderfully practical.
Each session includes simple, sensory-based tools that you can begin using straight away—for yourself, your family, or your classroom.

I work with children – through their parent(s).
Although our work begins with the parent, very often families begin to notice meaningful changes in their children as they are able to bring center to their own nervous systems.

Every person's journey is unique.
Some people experience moments of relief within the first session, while deeper healing naturally unfolds over time. Together, we'll move at a pace that feels supportive and appropriate for you.
